Relieves pain and improves the body’s physical function
Gentle, effective care of the spinal column with the use of the hands or instruments to provide correct movement, improve function, and decrease muscle irritation. The modern chiropractor works both directly and indirectly with the nervous system. Every function of the body is under the control of this system. Every organ, tissue and cell is controlled by nerve impulses traveling from the brain to all parts of the body.
Gentle effective manipulation of the soft tissue
This therapy provides an increase to muscle dilation and improves muscle healing time. In addition, massage therapy provides a decrease in pain associated with soft tissue injury.
Massage involves manipulating the body’s superficial layers of muscle and connective tissue with pressure to enhance function and promote relaxation. Target areas may include muscles, tendons, ligaments, skin, joints, or other connective tissue. In professional settings massage involves the client being treated while lying on a massage table, sitting in a massage chair, or lying on a mat on the floor.
Our physical therapist and physical therapy assistant plan and execute rehabilitation programs to aid patients’ in their return to a higher level of physical functioning after an accident and/or surgery.
An individualized program that strengthens areas of the spine
We understand that each patient is unique and requires special exercises based on age and physical condition. Muscle-strengthening exercises include activities in which a person moves their body, a weight or some other resistance against gravity. Weight-bearing, high-impact exercises are best for people who do not have low bone mass, osteoporosis or are frail. Weight-bearing, low-impact exercises are a safe alternative for people who cannot do high-impact exercises.
Deactivates trigger points that may cause pain or headaches
Manual pressure, vibration, injection, or other treatment is applied to these points to relieve pain for those who fail to show improvement with conservative massage. Trigger-point therapy helps to relieve pain and weakness associated with trigger points are present in a larger muscle or muscle bundle.
This training is done in our office and encompasses the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of acute and chronic injuries and medical conditions in athletes. The athletic trainer and the physician work together in order to enhance the care of the patient and prevent further injury from occurring in athletes.

These injuries cost billions of dollars each year in lost wages, workers compensation claims, and decreased productivity.
