
Over 20 years of experience in chiropractic care
Dr. Dexter has been practicing chiropractic for over 20 years. He is a graduate of Warren High School and completed undergraduate school at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He received a Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life College of Chiropractic in Atlanta, Georgia, in May 1991. Upon graduation, Dr. Dexter trained as an associate in Cambridge, Ohio. He opened his own practice, Dexter Chiropractic, in June 1993.
After starting the practice, Dr. Dexter began to notice that patients were responding better with strengthening and flexibility exercises, so he attended 300 hours of post graduate studies in rehabilitation, making the office different and unique.
Since 1993, Dr. Dexter’s practice has provided chiropractic care to over 10,000 residents in the area. In 2010, Dr. Dexter expanded his practice and changed the name to Marietta Health & Wellness Center to includes a full time medical doctor and massage therapist, along with chiropractic care.

Specializing in Swedish and deep tissue massages and trigger-point release therapies
Lindsay is a graduate of Washington State Community College, where she obtained a degree in Health and Wellness and a license in Massage Therapy in 2011. Linday’s professional goal is to provide individually personalized massage treatment for each client in order to attain maximum therapeutic effectiveness. Lindsay specializes in deep tissue massage, and trigger-point release. She believes that massage therapy and chiropractic care together can alleviate pain and discomfort to allow patients to maintain wellness of the body and mind.

Matthew grew up in Marietta and attended Parkersburg Catholic High School. He then earned an undergraduate degree in exercise science from Youngstown State University, a master’s degree in exercise physiology from Auburn University and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Alabama State University. Matthew has experience in many areas of physical therapy including acute in hospital therapy, short-term inpatient rehabilitation, home health and outpatient physical therapy.

Noelle has been a member of the MHWC staff for nine years. She attended Wheeling Jesuit University, completing a bachelor’s degree in Professional Communications. She obtained a master’s degree in Corporate Media from Marietta College. A native of the area, Noelle graduated from Parkersburg South High School in 2000.



Katie is a licensed massage therapist and our community outreach coordinator at MHWC. She has been with the office for 2 years. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her 3 dogs, Dallas, Bella, and Oakley. She is also is in the PTA program at WSCC and will graduate in May 2019.
